Time flies when you are having fun! Apparently somewhere in the last few months I was having so much fun I forgot to blog about it all. So in brief, some highlights from where we left off…
March 16th-18th – I returned to Hoga Kusten, yet again. This time for a two day trip on snowshoes. Snow shoes were way easier than skis, espically since this time round the snow had melted substantially and was crusty. Once again another wonderful adventure with great friends, and good weather!
March 22nd – 25th – Downhill ski-trip to Helmaven-Tarnaby with the International Committee(IC). It was so much fun! 5 hour road trip plus 3 days of great skiing with some powder, and great group, made for an awesome weekend. Favorite part was probably going a little off track with Papa Rav on the last day, and skiing some nice powder. Only downside I’ve never been to a hill with so many t-bars and no chair-lifts! It makes me feel lazy to say that my legs were dead by the end of the first day, and I blame the T-bars. We stayed at some nice cabins near by and had some good old fashion wholesome fun, as per usual… 😉
April – Apparently I didn’t take any photos during april, So we will assume I was busy working on thesis, and nothing remotely fun or exciting happened.
May & June – The snow is gone!! Summer has arrived! Once again busy with thesis.. However I found some time for saunas, birthdays, bbqs, brännboll, and good-byes. The last few weeks it seemed like there was always someone leaving for the summer/return to their homeland.
Definitely a bitter sweet time of the year, as you are happy to leave, but sad to say good-bye. But I’m sure some day we will meet again!
