Well, I’m assuming if you are reading my blog then you probably know me in real life. However, for those who don’t (there may be a slim possibility other people are actually reading this) my name is Jenn and I’m from the east coast of Canada. Currently I’m a masters student studying in Umeå, Sweden. I arrived in Sweden in September, and will be here for a year. Then I hope to do some traveling around other parts of Europe after my schooling is done.
Essentially the main goal of this blog is to share stories of my experiences abroad with family, friends, stalkers, and whoever else is interested.

Thanks for the comment on my blog a few days ago. It is cool stumbling across a fellow Canadian in Umeå. One of my classmates and I are just starting a project about how newcomers to Sweden experience learning (or not learning) Swedish in Umeå. It would be great if you would be interested in meeting up at campus one day to hear your story about how you have experienced Sweden so far. If you aren’t interested, that is not a problem as I realize this may seem a little out of the blue.
